Course Description

This engaging 6-hour introductory course offers participants a guided journey through the major developments, movements, and voices that shaped 19th and 20th-century Greek literature. Participants will explore how historical changes, cultural identity, and social transformation influenced writers from Romanticism and Realism to Modernism and Post-war literature. Through selected excerpts, multimedia resources, and discussion, learners will gain a deeper understanding of the literary heritage of modern Greek-speaking world.
