The Centre for Literary and Cultural Studies (KELOPOS) is an independent, non-profit organization founded in 2021 with the vision of creating an open and vibrant space for research, creativity, and public dialogue. Guided by the belief that culture belongs to everyone and that knowledge should be shared freely rather than restricted, KELOPOS brings together scholars, authors, artists, and the wider public, making high-level academic research and cultural experiences truly accessible to all.

Our core goals and activities include:

  • Promoting literary and cultural research through comparative and interdisciplinary initiatives, scientific conferences, public lectures, and seminars open to all.
  • Enhancing literature education by organizing conferences and workshops for educators, bridging theory and practice.
  • Creating a vibrant cultural environment through artistic and cultural events, literary gatherings, and book presentations, bringing creators into direct contact with the public.
  • Fostering creativity and participation through creative writing workshops and interdisciplinary initiatives that encourage dialogue, critical thinking, and cultural expression.
